Hello,
We have a wallpaper background that we would like to use, but don't want it resized to fit the screen. Is there any way to do this? It seems that all options available will squish it in some direction to fit the screen: Fill Screen and Fit to Screen - resize horizontally or vertically while maintaining the aspect ratio, Stretch to Fill Screen - resizes to the screen aspect ratio, Center - resizes similar to Fit to Screen. If I "trick" the system into using Tiled (which is normally greyed out for large images) it seems to resize similar to Centered.
The image we are using is 2560x1440 (resolution of our Thunderbolt displays), but we don't want it squished when the MacBook isn't connected to the display. It should just show the upper left quadrant.
It doesn't seem like this is possible in macOS (this is the default behavior in Windows), but maybe there is some command-line method that I haven't found yet.
Any ideas?
