When I try to create a local admin account through JSS, in the password field I input a 9 digit password but when I save the policy I see 20 dots in the Password field. The status stays stuck at "pending". Any ideas?

+25@Vernaf It's normal for a password field to not display the actual number of characters in a password unless it's being edited, so that isn't your problem. What is the trigger for your Policy that deploys the local admin account?
+4Hi, thanks for your response. Didn't realize that it was normal behavior. It finally did complete but it crashed my MacBook Air HARD. Had to reload the OS. The trigger is "Recurring Check in". Not sure what caused the crash. OS is Sierra 10.12.6. The error in Verbose mode was "kauth external resolver timed out". After loading the OS and trying again, it worked but now I'm nervous about deploying until I get an idea about what caused the crash. The target Macs are already out in the field so I want to avoid major downtime.
