I tried searching the existing forums for this and couldn't find what I was looking for. A computer was stolen from our campus and wiped, but was re-enrolled through DEP. Second one in a week. It's currently checking into our server (system reports it checked in 16 minutes ago) and I sent it the remote lock command, but it's still pending from what I can see. We've tested remote lock before and it works when the computer is on our network. How do you make it work when the computer is off network?

Your going to need to have a JAMF instance in the DMZ. That is how we have it setup in our shop to talk to devices externally.
