Afternoon everyone,
I just wanted to gauge best practice around managing stolen / lost devices within Jamf.
So if we have a bunch of devices lost or stolen and we activate lost mode, the device will stay as an active record within Jamf.
If we were to "unmanage" the device in Jamf after a period of time, would that remove the licence but keep the device in lost mode so that it couldn't be used?
I'm assuming that the answer would be yes, as the lost mode is handled by Apple and that the only way to remove the lock would be to contact Apple or manage the device through Jamf again.
Any clarification would be great.
