Hi everyone!
We have a couple of computers in our organization that is constantly asking users to enter admin credentials so that "storeassetd" can install new software.
From our research, storeassetd is a Mac App Store related process. We checked to see if there were any software updates pending within the App Store, but no updates are available.
Research also suggests that this might be a VPP issue, but we are not deploying any App Store apps through JAMF.
We checked to see if there were any changes made on these computers through JAMF, but that is not the case.
Does anyone know what's triggering this prompt? If it helps, all the affected computers are MacBook Air (2018) on macOS 10.14.6.
Thank you in advance!
