I had read a post over on MacE about this and thought I would give it a try with the new MacBook Air. if you boot to recovery you can essentially install Lion to an external drive and you are able to extract the InstallESD.dmg for that model. Here are the steps:
After that I copied the InstallESD.dmg up to my test JSS and told it that it was an OS X installer file (You need to do this from the MacBook Air). Made a Config and Compiled it (From the MacBook Air as well). The build of OS X was 11A2063. I'm guessing that I'm going to have to make a netboot image on the MacBook Air now(that should be fun).
Thanks

Try the new NetBoot creator in the resource kit.

That's the plan. I already made one with the GM build. Will I have to make multiple NetBoot images until 10.7.1?
Thanks
