Got an odd one. Anyone had this issue where Microsoft Word won't save anymore?
I tried uninstalling, re-installing. Killed preference files and Microsoft Container files. Just on this Mac after he updated to 15.1 and Word 16.91.24111020. Tried an older version.
User is signed into M365 okay. Other apps are fine, like PowerPoint and Excel.
Other Macs are fine.
Happens on every Word file, even a new blank one. Once we click Save As, just beach ball, freezes for a bit. No prompt or options to save from Finder.

Try quitting OneDrive if it's running, then repeat the Save test. Newly discovered issue with OD and Sequoia.

Can also try killing the Not Responding process that will look like "Open and Save Panel Service (Application)"

It's a bug on macOS 15 and above, not only affects MS Word, it affects all the Apps. when you try to upload from any browser are save the documents from Any App it will be hung.
you need to repeat this whenever you're trying to save and it's Hung.
I have raised a case with Apple and would suggest you also do the same so we can get this issue fixed.

Spent a few hours on this yesterday. Drilled it down to OneDrive on macOS Sequoia.
Even if OneDrive was fully closed, I couldn't save files in Word. Once I signed out of OneDrive, things worked normally again, and I could save files anywhere.
Signed back in, the problem came back. Also signed out of M365 for Word; it worked for a bit then stopped. Is this what you're seeing @pete_c ?
Most of my fleet is still on 14.7.1. We are still testing 15.1.
Thanks for suggesting the "Open and Save Panel Service (Application)." Will try.

I opened a MS Ticket about this a week ago. Feel free to mention MS ticket 2411040040011734 when you open your ticket.
Yes something to do with OneDrive, when you sign out of OneDrive you are able to start saving again.
I noticed this is more of a issue with fresh builds on 15, users upgrading from 14 to 15 don't seem to have the issue.
