macOS Big Sur Control Center

In our computer labs, we have the ability to connect to the WiFi disabled, however, with Big Sur's Control Center, the students can turn on WiFi among other things. Does anyone have any way of disabling or removing icons from within Control Center? I've found a few threads that suggest a few commands/scripts but none have worked so far.

I have a macbook pro with touch bar and I just find the control center in BigSur not as useful to me. Is there a way to remove it from the menu bar?

@apatel Did you get a solution to this? We are currently looking at upgrading to Monterey and are experiencing the same issue
