Hey there!

I've been a Mac admin for a few years now with other tools, but this is my first time using Jamf. I'm currently trying to enroll a few Big Sur (11.5.2) VM's into a Jamf sandbox environment, and am having some issues.

I know there are some workarounds that need done for VM's, namely ensuring the VM has a proper smbios (serial + model identifier), which I have done.

Here's my problem. The Jamf MDM profile does get installed after visiting tenant.jamfcloud.com/enroll, but it seems the actual jamf binaries, in addition to self service.app aren't getting installed on the system.

My VM does appear in the 'Computers' portion of Jamf, but I can't seem to get a proper installation from enrollment.

Anyone know what I may be missing?

Thanks!

Rob

Following this thread as I am seeing this too, however I'm seeing this with our on DMZ server. Internal UIE work as expected.

Seeing this as well, on a handful of our user initiated enrollment devices, in addition to my VMs. Following.

Also seeing this issues...

Short version: Jamf enrolled manually, MDM profile installed, certs installed, forticlient installed, wifi cert installed, AD joined… throughout several reboots after each of these, MDM profile and other profiles go unverified and certs disappear. Removal from Jamf then re-enroll brings back the jam cert but not the others ca certs needed.
