Hey Everybody!
I don't have any experience with iOS management at all. Our department works with Television Production, instead of the IT realm.
We've got two of our talent staff that upload short little video blog clips through their phones, which get sent back to headquarters and auto-ingested for Youtube uploads.
Now, we originally just manually configured these two phones with the proper application and configuration they need to send their material back to us - literally just the one app they needed with everything else deleted.
However, they recently requested another app be added for direct Facebook uploads, causing a whole big problem because the phone required information from our Apple ID for any changes to be made.
My question -- Is it possible to manage their iOS devices even though they are never stationed within our network? Do we just need an internet-facing distribution point, and they can hit that from anywhere?
Aside from initially setting up these phones, we really can't expect to ever see them again once we hand them over. There is also the potential for traveling overseas to other countries, on occasion.
Thanks for the help!
