I know this has been posted and there is a feature request post but why has the function of adding and managing peripherals taken a back seat in the latest versions? Using Jamf Pro as a managment tool has been a life and time saver. It would be even better if it had more robust asset peripheral management capabilities.
I don’t think I am the only one who not only manages computers and iOS devices but also the peripherals that are attached to them.
Reducing the capabilities of adding and managing peripherals has forced me to look at other inventory applications where I think it would be better and easier to keep it all in one system.
Is there hope on the horizon for bringing back peripheral managment within Jamf Pro?

I used to think all those Thunderbolt adapters were a nuisance but now with USB-C, the number of adapter dongles has increased tremendously. We need to know which adapters were issued with each Mac we deploy.
