Hello there!

Same issue here. Prompted to update to Self Service+ but none of the links work, 404.

Good day to you all

Far as I know still the only way to enroll is through your Jamf Account to the beta. I saw the notification in my Jamf portal this morning as well, and like @grldP  none of the links work. My guess that notification might have been released early or in error.

from my quick testing.. unless you have all the JAMF products.. Self Service + is of little value... can't see any reason to move over..

how did you migrate to self service + ?

I believe that the announcement said that the "regular" Self service will be retired in March 2025, so it sounds like we are getting forced into using SS+

yup.. just seen.. joy.. more work to do that I really don't need to do..

March 2026 is what mine says

oh whew!  Glad I read that wrong then!

Yeah, like more than a year from now, so plenty of time to make the change. Plus, while this 11.13 version doesn't include it, I have to believe Jamf will eventually make it so the console will push the new Self Service+ as it gets closer to the retirement date so there should not be a lot of actual work to do. Just like now, during enrollment or when running a manage command, the binary will likely download the new version for you.

Jamf hasn't announced that, but I'd be surprised if the workflow for it from here on out forever will be to download a separate package and push it from a policy.

Glad I read the email that came in yesterday wrong as well. Started looking into it this morning since I read March of this year.  Good to hear we have a good bit more time before being forced into the new Self Service.  I installed Self Service + on my machine this morning and besides a slightly different look, it doesn't appear to be much different.  Maybe I'm just missing something though.

Well, no rush to move over at least. Legacy Self Service is EOL and going away in '26. So you'll need to deploy SS+ by whatever that date will be...

Jamf has released 11.13.0 today, which Self Service Plus is part of. In the release notes, they have a deployment guide, https://learn.jamf.com/en-US/bundle/self-service-plus-documentation/page/Jamf_Self_Service_Plus_for_....

I went through the install this morning on a test device. I first downloaded the .pkg Here are some instructions per learn.jamf.com. No issues to report yet with v1.0.0

You can install Self Service+ on managed computers by using a policy in Jamf Pro to deploy the Self Service+ PKG.

  1. In Jamf Account, navigate to Products > Add-ons and click Self Service+.
  2. Click Download.

The Self Service+ PKG downloads immediately.

  3. Add the downloaded package to Jamf Pro. For more information, see Package Management in the Jamf Pro Documentation.
  4. Create a policy to deploy and install Self Service+. For instructions, see Package Deployment in the Jamf Pro Documentation.
