Moving from local hosted JSS to cloud, real world experience doing that?

We've got the paperwork taken care of, and are in the process of doing some housekeeping on the JSS to clean up, but I'm wondering what kind of experience others have had. Time to move, tips, pain points, anything that might help us out.

Thanks!

When we moved our locally hosted to AWS it was fairly painless. The one thing we did was when we created our AWS instances, we set them up with temporary DNS entries and tested all the ports, etc, and restored our production DB to it and tested again. When it was time to switch over we just restored to the latest copy of our production DB and switched the production DNS entries to point to the AWS instances. It really was that simple.

Of course I can give more details if you have specific things you are concerned about :)

Piggy backing on this discussion. AWS likes to rebuild the OS every 90 days. What's the experience with rebuilding the servers with Jamf Pro?
