+26Does anyone out there have some suggestions on limiting the multicast on a wifi network? Special commands and or services that you disable before deploying 1000s of ipads and macbook airs?
We are running into a problem where our access points can't cope with the amount of multicast traffic that is going on.

+11OK, that's hilarious...we use some beefy HP switches and those nasty 10/100 USB adapters to send out our initial deployment that included CS5.5, Office 2011, etc. Not ideal, but better than wiping out our wireless subnet...Only ran about 20 machines at a time, though.
