We are using the Classic API with basic authentication to gather inventory data. We were hoping for a more secure method of authentication if possible.

Is it possible to set up Mutual Authentication with certificates to secure the REST API endpoints?

Or should we just wait for the new Jamf PRO API with the assumption that there will be options for Token or OAuth based authentiation?

Thanks!

With the classic api, you only get basic auth, there is no token based auth.
