I have recently setup a Casper Netboot Server, the server looks correct except I receive an error when I attempt to image. When I netboot on a test Mac and log into Casper Imaging, the Casper Imaging application opens correctly, after I select the configuration I want and then select Image I get an error message “The Distribution Point could not be mounted”. I was wondering if anybody has come across this message before on their Netboot server?

Can you manually mount the CasperShare? i.e. afp://yourdp.company.com or smb://yourdp.company.com? If not, wonder if there's a network architecture issue preventing whichever subnet you end up on when you NetBoot, from communicating to wherever the distribution point is...

Needs to be using a AFP share, works correctly now.
