Netboot with new MacBook Pro w/ Thunderbolt

Create the Netboot Image using the latest Hardware. In this case it would be the Early 2011 Macbook Pro. This will boot anything else below it as well.

Jeff,

The 10.6.7 combo updater was for all systems - except the new MBP's. The timing for the update was such that we had to create a parallel updater to cover the MBP. You should create a unique netboot image for the MBP's using the disk it shipped with plus the Mac OS X v10.6.7 Update for early 2011 MacBook Pro

One (unsupported) thing you could try is to use the MBP disk, add both combo updaters to it, and create a netboot image from that.

I have my netboot accessible from all systems. I am using Diskless Netboot hosted on a Windows Machine (Netbooting access via MacMini).

We are successfully netbooting all Intel model Macs by using the special
build of 10.6.6 that came with the new thunderbold model Macs. For us, that
has avoided the 10.6.7 fork between models.
