I have a number of locations that share the same wireless controller in a country, coincidentally, they also share the same IP range in a shared dhcp pool. I have distribution points in the locations, but would like to know if there is logic behind jamf to determine if there is a local distribution point in the physical location even though there is overlap between the network segments. There's nothing built in.
But depending on your wireless setup, you could maybe do something with DNS on the wireless controllers that resolves to the local DP.
But, if your Wireless is anchored back to a central point.. There will be little benefit & so maybe HTTP/s DP's will work better.
