New JSS User with Admin Privileges Cannot Image a Machine

Hi there,

I have a new user configured in the JSS with the exact same permissions as everyone else, but for some reason when he gets to the point in Casper Imaging when he clicks Image, the app just hangs and doesn't move forward. When I log in, it works just fine.

I've tried this with setting him as an LDAP user in the exact same group as myself, and also as a locally created JSS user to no avail. I've also tried changing the username of a previous JSS user, and it still doesn't work. He can log in to the JSS web interface fine, and Casper Imaging accepts his credentials. But he simply can't proceed with the imaging. Has anyone seem this before? Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Jason

You know I know you know this...is the person doing the imaging using the right version of Casper Share app? What do the Casper Imaging logs say (on the Mac running Casper Imaging)?

This one is solved - the user had a '+' in his password, which is a known defect.

Thanks!
