OS X Disable iTunes Login Ability for users and other preferences

My music lab teacher is requesting the following and I'm struggling to find a solution for him:

  1. Set a preference so that when they open the music files he's shared on a network share they are NOT imported into the local iTunes library but just puts the "link" in iTunes instead.

  2. Disable the ability for them to log into their personal iTunes account.

The first i'm assuming I can probably capture the plist changes when I make that change on a test machine? But I wasn't sure if there was a better way to manage the iTunes settings somewhere else?

The second part I can't find anything about. He's very insistent that the students not be logging into their personal iTunes and downloading their personal music into the lab machines.

I don't know about #1, but for #2, perhaps restricting iCloud access via a configuration profile will keep that from working, though I haven't tested this.
