In doing some updates today, I noticed that some of our iMacs are showing 30+ installed configuration profiles (rather than the standard 6 or 7). Most of these say 'Unknown Profile' in the JSS. I don't actually see these locally on the clients in System Preferences and it doesn't really seem to have any impact. Anybody else see this before?

+10Hey @johnnasset Did you ever figure this out? I see this too, and while I dont see any adverse effect, it does look messy.
Was just curious if you ever found an answer on this :)
+9The response I received from JAMF support last spring:
We do have a defect relating to this where if a machine is un-enrolled from the JSS while profiles are scoped to it and then re-enrolled we may see this. Thankfully, the profiles shouldn't actually be doing anything since, like we found, they aren't actually on machines, so it's more of a cosmetic issue in inventory than anything. For your reference the defect ID is D-005842.
