OSX VPP device assignments require El Capitan

I just learned from our JAMF account manager that OSX 10.11 El Capitan will be required for OSX VPP device assignments to work. Maybe this is old news, but it came as a shock to me. That means I won't be able to utilize it for quite some time. :(

    I thought it was an OS limitation? There's probably no upside for Apple trying to roll it into previous versions of the OS.

    I could be wrong though :)

    Yeah, I'm almost certain this was stated by Apple when they previewed it in WWDC.
