[OT] AppleCare vs 3rd party warranty

We were refreshing our pricing quotes from our Mac computer sources, and one of them included an optional Accidental Coverage warranty for an almost negligible price difference from Applecare. Has anybody had any experience with these 3rd party warranty's vs AC?

2 things we could sorely use is 1) Accidental Coverage and 2) Onsite repair (GSX is an option, but nobody is certified, so we can't have parts. that and I can't figure out the GSX site).

Both of these are things we get from Dell/HP/etc and would like to bring the Macs up to the same level.

I would reach out to you apple rep and ask about ACE (Apple Care Enterprise). We just moved to it and one of the new things is that there is onsite repairs are included in some locations.

Still no Accidental Coverage, however we did some light math and were thinking about dropping AC all together as most of our repairs have been "user damage" and we had to pay for the repair. Our onsite team really wanted onsite repairs because "same windows"..

We chose a third-party insurance policy that covers everything except cosmetic damage. No deductible. One factor in our decision was their affiliation with a local Apple-Certified Service Center that was already well established as our preferred repair shop.
