Hi all,
What does one do if a package sometimes does not successfully install (or in the case of the below Mathematica.dmg, not copy) but Casper reports that it did?

As my colleague was quick to point out, Mathematica is a very large (multiple gig) install and takes about 21 minutes to finish this step on other machines in our environment.
This happened on another, smaller package as well.
We had been imaging roughly 40 machines at the same time. Our JSS (Linux) and DP (Windows SMB) are hosted on VMware. We are on JSS 9.96.
Any help is much appreciated.

Large installs are usually cached then installed from local drive, followed by deleting the installer. We see this a lot with laptop fleet.

This is a bug that we've also seen. It has been fixed in 9.97
