Pre-stage enrollment question

I have created a Pre-stage enrollment for our existing Macs and incoming. As a test, I enrolled a test Mac we have in DEP, wiped it, worked great. Well I needed to wipe it again, I created a smart group that is supposed to add anything enrolled in the Pre-stage enrollment to the smart group. Well I can clearly see that this Mac is part of the Pre-stage group but is not showing up in the smart group anymore. I checked all the settings and everything is correct, site listing is correct. Is there something I am doing wrong?
