I'm not at a mac with composer. But there is a way to remove global exclusions in composer.

Regards,

Ben.

Preferences -> Exclusion List

Highlight and hit the - minus sign

You would be excluding everything in /private/var/db/. Wouldn't it be
easier to drag the receipts folder in after snapshotting?

Awesome, thanks! I guess no way to exclude /private/var without excluding /private/var/receipts (can't have our cake and eat it too). :)

Thanks,
Don

Should we be dragging the /var/db/receipts/appropriatefiles into a
snapshot? I've always wondered about this for updates, etc. I find that
some updaters can work with out them while others seem to fail.

I never include any receipts

I figured that would be the norm since the diff files that Jamf supplies
do not include. I'm just concerned that some apps require those files
need to be in /var/db/receipts/ in snow leopard and /Library/Receipts in
Leopard.
