Proxy Auto Configuration - PAC Fallback

We've got two SSID's broadcasting from our Meraki AP's that users can connect to, one is our main corporate network and the other is a more restrictive one that can only access a selection of our internal services.

The SSID for the main network drops straight onto our LAN and routes out via our proxy servers using a PAC file, whereas the second network routes out via the Meraki MX controller in our datacenter and split tunnels onto our LAN for the selected internal services.

When we have both SSID's configured on a MacBook we can connect through the main network using the PAC file without any issues however when we switch to the second network we lose internet as it is trying to access the PAC file which is denied.

The Network payload from Apple Profile Manager includes a key named 'ProxyPACFallbackAllowed' which allows direct connection if the PAC file is unavailable but I can't see this anywhere in Jamf.

Anyone know if/how this can be set?

Thanks

John

Having similar issue when computer is off network there is no fallback and it has no connection due to the unit looking for the .PAC file.

any info would be much appreciated

There is a Feature Request here for adding this - it's going to need a fair bit of voting up to get on the radar but hopefully enough of us will help it get there.
