I noticed recently, when testing some of the old iSight disablement scripts floating around here, that Apple seems to have sourced the latest cameras from another place.
The old cameras return a Model ID of UVC Camera VendorID_1452 ProductID_34057 (or also 34058, and perhaps other variants?).
The new ones return a Model ID of Apple Camera VendorID_0x106B ProductID_0x1570 - and it seems that the scripts here, that delete the drivers for the old camera, don't work with this model.
So I'm wondering if any of you all have dug any deeper into this, and found where the drivers are hiding OR if you've found another way to disable the cameras in the newer models? It's a security requirement for some of our units, so we really need to get a handle on this as these newer models make their way into the fleet.
