Hello,

Today we use Ivanti Endpoint Manager (formerly Landesk) to manage our 500 Windows workstations.

For a question of costs, we are asked to change tools.

What do you think would be the best alternative?

We mainly use: remote control, application deployment (scripts, exe, msi, etc.), OS provisioning and inventory requests.

I was thinking of Microsoft Endpoint Manager or Filewave but I'm not sure it's really cheaper ...

Thank you for your help,

Have you looked into "Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager"? I have heard good things about this one. I am not an administrator for it but I have heard good things.

We run Microsoft EndPoint Configuration Manager for our almost 5000 windows clients. The tool is great, but could potentially be overkill for 500 clients. Would suggest InTune maybe, for that few of devices; but only if you already have Azure AD up and running.

We just use local AD (synced to Azure but irrelevant for this), WDS, WSUS, Group Policy and WSUS Package Publisher. For our fleet of about 400 devices, we haven't even bothered with the deployment tool kit and inTune could be an overkill.
