I'm working on rolling out OneNote in Self Service for our users. I'm packaging it with composer.

I'm running into an issue where a user wants to update OneNote (or any program I downloaded from App Store), it prompts for the Apple ID I used to install it when I packaged the program. The option is greyed out and doesn't allow them to change it.

Is there a file in the package contents that is saving my Apple ID?

Nevermind... Figured it out.

I deleted a file called "receipt" in the _MASReceipt folder.

Why not use VPP? Just curious.

@adamcodega I wasn't aware that VPP existed. Looking into this now :)

OneNote is also free, so anyone can get it from the App Store anyway. When dealing with a non-free app, deleting the MAS receipt may not always work.
We're working on getting VPP going as well. So far so good but there are some caveats to it.
