As the title states, we are getting a "Push certificate not configured" error when trying to enroll Android devices in our JSS. iOS devices enroll without issue. Unless I am amusing something, Id id not see anything above and beyond required in order to enroll Android devices.
The JSS log shows nothing except a couple of entries stating "Setting device type to: ANDROID". Anyone else run into this?

We ran into a similar issue, cant remember if it was a push cert issue, but where Androids couldnt enroll. We had to setup a personal device profile. Which you dont have to do with the apple devices.

Hmm, guess I'll have to look into personal device profiles then.
Thanks!

We do have a personal profile configured. The only setting is requiring an 8 character password. We are still getting the error, unfortunately.

We get the same error when trying to enroll. Have you contacted support?

Yes,
The answer was to reissue the Tomcat certificate in the Tomcat settings in system settings.
Then in Global Management click on Push Certificates and click the plus button to create a Push Proxy Setting. Once this was done and you check the box for Android self enrollment under global management/User-Initiated enrollment/Platforms.
