Does anyone know how to reduce the timeout for accounts off network when bound to active directory? It currently takes an additional 1 - 2 minutes to log in. I believe the system has to time out first before using cached credentials. Any help is appreciated!

+3Amazing! Took my boot up from 70 sec to 15 sec. Thank you so much. I wonder what the implications will be with a value of "2" for DSBindTimeout that low though. Maybe I should raise it a bit. :)
+14I noticed I wasn't getting a Kerberos ticket at 2 when on the network....at 10 I do. I haven't tried to fine tune it further yet...but 10 is a good compromise.
