Does anyone know how to reduce the timeout for accounts off network when bound to active directory? It currently takes an additional 1 - 2 minutes to log in. I believe the system has to time out first before using cached credentials. Any help is appreciated!

Amazing! Took my boot up from 70 sec to 15 sec. Thank you so much. I wonder what the implications will be with a value of "2" for DSBindTimeout that low though. Maybe I should raise it a bit. :)

I noticed I wasn't getting a Kerberos ticket at 2 when on the network....at 10 I do. I haven't tried to fine tune it further yet...but 10 is a good compromise.
