Question

Removing Auto-Join wifi network using Jamfpro command line

Forum|alt.badge.img+4

Hello,

Can anyone help me with the command line to remove/uncheck the "Automatically join this network" on a known network?

In Monterey's it says "Automatically join this network" and in Ventura its "Auto-Join"

We have two SSIDs and I want to make sure only the corporate is set to auto-join but not the other one.

I appreciate your help.

Thanks

Joy

I think you just have to uncheck the auto-join option in the configuration profile.

Hi @dolfhoegaerts ,

Thanks for your reply. I think this will work for us. So the profile is already pushed to all machines, I can uncheck "auto-join" in the profile and push it again and it should be fine right?

Thanks.

Hi @dolfhoegaerts

I tried to uncheck the "auto-join" on the profile which is already pushed and redistributed to the test machines but the "auto-join" from the known network in Macbook stays checked.

When I push the profile by unchecking the "auto-join" to a new computer the network stays "auto-join" unchecked in known networks.

Any other way to clear the "auto-join" check in known networks?

Thanks
