We're looking at softwareChangeReport.pdf and it's a bit much info to digest. The report seems to dig through all directory levels. Is there a way to adjust behavior so it does not traverse beyond *.app folders?

Thanks,
Don

Don,

I don't see this, but then I have configured the following:

Inventory Collection Preferences > Software > Application Collection > Manage Search Paths for Applications

and I have a single search path "/Applications/"

I'm not seeing any anything inside an app

Interesting, we have only /Applications set as well but JSS is traversing into the *.app bundles. Hmmm...we're still on 7.31, what are you folks running? :)

I don't have Include sizes, etc ticked
I only have /Applications/ as a search path
I am running 8.1

Nothing to note on the release notes of 8.0 or 8.1 to suggest they changed this!

Ahhh...OK, so we had the Include Sizes box checked...I disabled and will run recon again to see if that was the problem.

Thanks,
Don
