Can anyone provide the correct Process name to restrict the latest Catalina update to 10.15.5 as well as the latest security Updates for Mojave (18G5033) and High Sierra (17G13033).

I would like to restrict until tested.

macOS Catalina 10.15: softwareupdate --ignore "macOS Catalina 10.15.5 Update"
is working for me.

macOS Mojave 10.14: softwareupdate --ignore "Security Update 2020-003"
(please test it)

@atomczynski Can confirm the softwareupdate --ignore "Security Update 2020-003" ignores the update for macOS Mojave machines.

Note that once you install these updates you can no longer ignore major version updates. This is a huge annoyance as we are mostly running Mojave and now the users get the prompt to update to Catalina. This is a change noted by Apple in the release notes. This will also be a negative when they release 10.16 as our Catalina users will see a prompt to update.

Yes both are working.

Any help on Restricting High Sierra from the App Store? sudo softwareupdate --ignore "Security Update 2020-003 10.13.6" and sudo softwareupdate --ignore "Security Update 2020-003 High Sierra" do not seem to work for me
