We are trying to create a restricted software piece for Microsoft Edge. We can restrict the "dev" version of the installer, but the canary build isn't being blocked. As the end of the school year is quickly approaching, we really don't want anything else added to our Macs that may or may not create problems for people.
Anyone have any luck with this?
+36Are you blocking the app process "Microsoft Edge"? Don't block the app "Microsoft Edge Canary. app".
+20Thank you @talkingmoose I did block Microsoft Edge and I tried in a number of ways, tried with a wildcard and without. For some reason the Canary version isn't being blocked. The dev version using the same blocking mechanisms is working.
