Hi,
Could you tell me how to achieve this with existing version of Casper Suite 7.31 (I think potentially future request):
I have a smart group in JSS for Macs hasn't checked in for 90 + . I would like these Macs to move to retired zone and release the Casper License (seat). But if any of these Macs comes back to network again retain the seat back. We have journalist go around the world for months sometimes and I don't really want loose track of what we have purchased in the past. Deleting retired Macs means I will need another database which I would like to avoid.
Thanks in advance.

name and password. This makes them "unmanaged" while retaining the
information. Each year when our Finance group asks which machines are
still active and which are retired, I provide them a list from the JSS and
then remove the retired machine records altogether.

This is now queued up as future request with JamfSoftware:
"machines that have not contacted the JSS in 90 plus days be possibly put in a 'In Limbo' group that still will attempt to get to the JSS and look for policies, but open up a licensed machine state."
