Hmm. They forgot to list one very important feature it seems-

• Will not disappear from your Applications folder

It does say:

Fixes a rare issue in which some users were unable to access Safari after installing the 8.0.1 update

I wonder if that is their way of acknowledging a vanishing Safari application…

Haha. Didn't even notice that. Yeah, I guess it disappearing qualifies as "not being able to access" it, though kind of a funny way of saying it. Kind of like saying "I can't launch this application... because my computer won't boot up"

Strange that the older Safari update that was pulled was actually installing for us just fine and that the new ones available today are failing (the Mavericks version, anyways).

I had to take them down. WhatsApp Safari?
