Scoping Extension Attributes?

I have been thinking about adding lines to the /etc/jamf.conf to be able to scope stuff out. Write some script that basically writes a dummy receipt in plain text somewhere that tells you what smart group that computer is in, then you can just base your policy off the output of that file/line. So you could basically script a loop checking the status of said line of code and base policy off of it.
