Scoping Software to Users Not Working

Hello:

One of our software applications has an update that we'd like to scope to a group of users. The software has a policy that's enabled, has a "Logout" Trigger checked and the Execution Frequency as "Ongoing." We have it set as scoping to a Static Group of users, but it doesn't seem to push out to the computers. We tested this with one user, and the application didn't update.

Any ideas?

    Hi,

    I believe that, when scoping to users or a group of users, you must scope to everyone but then add a limitation to only those users that you want the policy to run on.

    Kind of backwards of what you would think.
