Hi all!

I am trying to set the ability for apps like teams and Bomgar to have screen recording enabled by default. I can;t seem to set it in JAMF, so i tried to upload a profile that i created in the server app and it didn;t work. Any advice here. Its really hampering rollout of Catalina. I can include the configuraration profiles if needed.

Thanks,

Dan

@danielgrm Per Apple design you can not enable screen recording via a Configuration Profile. You do have the option to deny it however.

@danielgrm In a word, No. Screen recording, camera, and microphone access all require explicit user permission to enable. Profiles can only Deny access for them. See Update Privacy Preferences Policy Control to include new "Screen Recording" section for more discussion.
