So basically to be used as forensic evidence of any miss-doing should a case arise to escalate the monitoring of a specific student using a district owned Mac.
+13You can enable Remote Management and un-tick the box " Show when being observed"
But should check to be sure it's ok related to privacy concerns.

I know you didn't ask for anything but if it's technically feasible to do but you reallllly should consider not doing this. Not only is it incredibly creepy but it'll be ripe for abuse by others.
+3Yep, I had seen that one before Chris, but I am not interested in capturing video from their cameras. I am interested in capturing desktop screen as a video. My content filter already allows me to do this on PC when there is a policy infraction (like attempting to surf porn so many times per minute). It then captures a 2-3 minute video of the desktop screen utilizing VNC. This used to work for Macs as well (through VNC) until Yosemite, now it just will record the user login screen and not the "active" desktop screen. I have an option in my network DVR software as well; however, at this time, it only supports Windows and not OS X. Thus I am looking for something I can use where I can send out a command or such that will initiate desktop screen recording without the user knowing they are being recorded and somehow send that video to a server somewhere.
