Besides using self service for having users do maintenance and install applications and printers, what else do you use it for? Websites? Other cool stuff? I am just looking for some ideas, maybe adding sharepoint etc...

+12We use P-Synch to synchronize the users' password across all company systems. But on Macs there is no convenient "You must change your password NOW" window that takes over when a users' password is expired. So I have self service showing a link to "Open p-synch to reset your password," as the link to p-synch on our intranet is super hard to find.
+12In the old one when someone found out that it was basically all HTML/CSS etc. There was a big thread when we all started experimenting with what you could do with it.
I ended up embedding a bunch of videos from the tech department re: our new Trouble Ticket system etc.
Those were taken down a long time ago so I haven't looked into "porting" them over to a plug-in.
