Just out of curiosity, do you add your servers to the JSS for tracking (updates, hardware info, etc) and what not?

Currently we don't but as soon as I get to start upgrading them, I will be.

I do. I have a separate group for them though of course. I usually just keep them in there for inventory purposes and to keep with ITIL etc. Its very useful though for updates to just push to a group.

All of ours are in the JSS.
We use dummy receipts & extension attributes that read them to scope all our groups.
Server has: /.JSS-Server.
Clients: /.JSS-Managed
Supervised Macs : /.JSS-Supervised (those we do not manage to a great deal, Video editing boxes for example).
Lastly ~Sedna : /.JSS-Sedna (for our digital signage macs).

I like that people still use dummy receipts in the age of extension attributes. :-D

We also put servers in the JSS, at least when we had them. Just have a few minis floating around right now for iPad deployment stuff.
And yes, @milesleacy, in the age of extension attributes. Tell me, who approves extension attributes submitted to the Nation website and what is the expected turn around time on seeing them posted to help people because I haven't seen mine go up lately for Flash, Java, and Flip4Mac. Blackhole? Fix it!
