Set default JDS per client

How does one set the default JDS a client uses?
I have a default JDS that is used when a computer is located on a certain network segment, however, if that computer is offsite, it appears to want to pull from a root JDS that is not technical my group's.

I am hoping there is an easy JSS button to click or script I can execute to correct this situation?

    The JDS used is determined by the network segment a computer checks in from. Edit your network segments to reflect the JDS you want to use when a device is offsite (in your DMZ most likely).
