One step at a time my friend.

To enable Automated Device Enrollment, you need Apple Business/School Manager configured and to register JAMF with Apple Business/School Manager. Once that is done you just need to build a prestage and scope everything out.

Computer PreStage Enrollments - Jamf Pro Administrator's Guide | Jamf

As far as JAMF Connect, sounds like your source files may be corrupt. Where did you get the package from?

with apple business/school manager that should be registered and there is a prestage already created and for the jamf connect it was downloaded from the JAMF nation site, downloaded the latest version but when uploading the pfk package to jamf it tells me it is undefined

If you already have the MDM token, and everything configured between JAMF and ABM. All that is really left is to scope out the prestage, test it and adjust settings to meet your organization's needs.

JAMF Connect comes down as a .dmg with a few pkg's in the dmg. Which .pkg are you trying to upload?

First I would start out by joining the macadmins community on Slack.
Second, add the following channels to your Slack.

Third, sounds like you have the right pieces in place already, so you may want to open a ticket with Jamf to ask for help.
