SQLException from execute error for 'common_name'

I'm getting an odd error after my upgrade to 8.71 (possibly before, but I didn't dig into the logs too deep).

I'm not sure how to diagnose or approach this error. It repeats every 1-5 minutes.

Hey monogrant,

Thanks for the post - it sounds like we might have Strict Mode enabled in mySQL - check out this article which should hopefully resolve our issue!

Thanks for the update Mike. I'm not finding the sql_mode pattern in my /etc/mysql/my.cnf file at all...

Other ideas?

Update:
I'm also running MySQL v 5.5

@monogrant][/url and @michael.scafide I have the exact same problem. Im running 5.5 as well. Any ideas?
