Subnet and user based ACLs for configurations in CasperImaging

I think (emphasis on think) that you can already do this via compiled configurations and auto run data. I can create auto run data based on LDAP users/groups (just verified) and by building. Your building data can be set by subnet. Then if a client boots from that netboot subnet/building it can get that compiled configuration.

Unless I am missing exactly what you are trying to accomplish here.

Hi Thomas,

thanks for your reply.

Well is it possible when creating your netboot image to disable those functions in the Casper imaging app when building it? Is there a property list that enables those keyboard commands somewhere?

Maybe Jamf has to answer that one. Since the Casper Imaging app is added to the netboot image upon creation.

Just a thought, not sure if possible

Ah yeah, I suppose they could just click on custom install and go to town.
