Curious if anyone has had to report on any commercial antivirus app installed on a Mac?
I've got a request from our enterprise security team to provide a list of computers with whatever AV app might be installed, or if none is installed. I can't quite wrap my head around how I'm supposed to report on that, short of building a EA script that checks for the common AV apps on the market, or export the entire computer list with apps and do that work within excel or something.

+16I have tried the export computer list for a different issue and it becomes a mess quickly ... I would recommend working with the security team to get them to define exactly what they need/are looking for ... I don't think in this day and age "commercial antivirus app" is really means anything .. I am guessing there are thousands !!! : ) Good Luck!!

+16oh and then you could use smart groups or reports to find the the agreed upon list of apps : )
