The 802.1X service could not be updated

Hello, I'm seeing the error 'The 802.1X service could not be updated' in Jamf Pro on ~10% of my fleet when deploying our corp WiFi profile. The errors are spread across macOS 10.14 to current and on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. 

I've got a case open with Apple on the subject, but they aren't having any luck finding a cause. Is anyone else seeing this issue when deploying a user channel WiFi profile with Enterprise security? 

 

Reporting has been a challenge... but you can see if you are suffering from the issue by viewing the errors from JamfPro --> Computers --> Configuration Profiles --> [config profile]  "Failed", drag-select/copy the list from the GUI and paste them into Numbers.
